In January of 2017, I woke up that day just like any other with exception of one thing. I was tired of being overweight and unhappy. That day, I decided I was going to what was necessary to make positive lifestyle changes in my life and become healthier. I started small but making small adjustments to my food, which then turned into larger ones. I learned what was “good” for you and what was not. A month or so into it, I invested in an elliptical. Lets just say right now that using it was not fun. However, I stuck with it. I lost about 20lbs in the upcoming 3 months from that point. Then in April of 2017, I decided it was time to move to the next level and get a gym membership. Since then, I have made a lot of progress both in and out of the gym. It has not come easy and will never BE easy.
Over these last couple of years I have had to find ways to stay motivated. I’ve had many friends and family ask how I do it....That being said, I know what has worked for me...having the constant in your face motivation from the shirts that I wear that remind me of where I came from and where I am going. So, in October of 2019, I decided that I wanted to make a bigger impact of other people’s lives not just my own and my immediate friends and family. This is where Fall Forward came from. In life we are always told that no matter what we do, we should always have something to fall back on. Well, I say this, you do not need to worry about a plan b, it will only distract you from your PLAN A! If you fail at something fail forward, and always FALL FORWARD into becoming better!
